Private Ownership

SWAHT is and always has been privately owned and operated. This means Josh and Joe have unlimited control over decisions that go toward music selection, equipment purchases, and pricing.

With a corporate DJ service, all the setups are predetermined and usually have a number of systems that go out. With that many systems, most all of those corporations skimp on equipment quality in order to save money. SWAHT however, has a number of systems for different venues, all of which are of very high quality. (see quality chart on our equipment page)

Also with corporations, they have predetermined set lists of their music and some won’t even take requests. SWAHT has an owner or two at every event we do, so that decisions can be made promptly and appropriately…and we always accept requests unless otherwise noted by the employer.

Technologically Advanced

SWAHT uses only the most recent and advanced technologies in order to, not only have a clean appearance, but also to have ease of use when we are working. SWAHT currently owns 3 laptop computers, which are used to inventory, search for, and play music at an event. We also incorporate Minidisc technology, which allows ultimate flexibility in editing and playback of our music. Minidiscs do not skip during playback. In fact, the use of CDs by us has for the most part become a thing of the past. Though, we should note that dual CD drives and backup CDs are present at every event.

Pay Less For More

Rare is it that you will find a DJ company that brings the sheer amount of high quality equipment that SWAHT does. Even rarer is to find one that does and charges anywhere near as little as SWAHT does. Once again, this is all possible because of private ownership, meaning we don’t have a load of other employees to pay while we sit at home and take a 70% cut.
