Most other DJ services have one comment when they approach
our system: “Are you guys insane?! That’s a lot of stuff.”
Well…yes.
We believe in being the best and our equipment demonstrates
it. If that constitutes insanity, then lock us up…but let us continue to rock.
SOUND EQUIPMENT
|
When you need to
hear the music clearly at any volume and when you need the bass to be
thumping no matter what size the room...you need truly professional sound
equipment. That is why SWAHT uses some of the absolute best equipment
available. |
BOSE
- 802 SERIES II & III - TOPS
|
Two of our compact 802 tops have enough power and incredible clarity
for most medium to large sized rooms. Just for good measure, we do
have 4 available for our "very large" venues. Their light
weight and small profile make them the perfect tops for any event
and they are complimented perfectly by our powerful 18” JBL SRX subs. |
|
JBL -
SR4718X - SUBWOOFERS
|
Don’t even bother dude, the trunk of your car has absolutely nothing
on these. The four SR4718X single 18" subwoofers we have produce
pounding bass from easy-to-transport, compact enclosures. These are the
speakers that will produce the club sound for any size room. In fact, most
clubs don't even have woofers like these. These will take the "sub in
every corner of a small room" sound and distribute it throughout a
gymnasium or dining hall. For our large venues, including schools and live
sound, all four subs are usually used while our weddings only require two. |
|
BOSE
- PANARAY SYSTEM – DIGITAL CONTROLLER
|
The Panaray® system digital controller
consolidates a number of functions into a single unit. Speaker equalization,
delay and limiting settings are in one central source for easy, efficient
display and functionality. |
DBX -
223XL - ACTIVE CROSSOVER
|
This device is used to split high and low frequencies to balance
our speakers for the optimal frequency ranges. More lows or highs can be
delivered with the turn of a knob. |
|
MACKIE
– DFX6 - MIXER
|
|
With six channels, this little guy gives us ultimate flexibility
for any basic application. It integrates karaoke and live sound as
well as facilitating normal DJing. Built-in
effects provide a nice feature for small live shows. Mackie mixers
are solid, reliable, and incredibly good at keeping total harmonic
distortion (THD) to a minimum. |
ALESIS
- M-EQ 230 - EQUALIZER
|
This equalizer has 32 bands stereo. This means we have access to
32 different frequency ranges, per channel, which help us to minimize feedback
during live sound production and also help to fine tune our speaker systems. |
|
FURMAN
- PL-8 - POWER CONDITIONER
|
|
Power conditioners protect our equipment from surges and dirty ungrounded
power. |
CROWN
-
|
The best the business has to offer in terms of power consumption
to output. We use these amps to power our JBL subs. They deliver the
chest thumping, wall shaking bass, which brings the club atmosphere
to any size room. |
|
PEAVEY
- PV1200 - POWER AMPLIFIER
|
|
This amp can provide up to 1200 watts at 2 ohms mono and mainly
powers our Bose tops. |
SONY
- MXD-D40 - CD/MD PLAYER
|
Minidisc technology allows
for the maximum flexibility of recording and editing digital music today. MD's
do not scratch or skip. Combined with a CD player on the opposite side,
these units allow us to play from multiple digital medias. Unfortunately MD
is a dying technology but is still incredibly convenient for recording
“on-the-go” applications. |
|
SHURE -
PGX - WIRELESS MICROPHONES
|
|
Wireless microphones are a necessity when it comes to doing
weddings or any jobs that require a person to be able to effectively interact
with a crowd. These Shure models allow for ultimate
clarity and mobility. This system boasts two of the handheld systems as well
as an optional lapel mic. |
INVICION
- COMPUHOST - KARAOKE SOFTWARE
|
|
This software allows us to project our own graphics and adds a
constantly scrolling ticker line which lists the upcoming performers. Speed and
pitch control combined with the ability to record performances makes this one
of the best programs for the digital karaoke host. |
RANE -
SERATO SCRATCHLIVE & MP4 - SOFTWARE & CONTROLLER
|
The problem with laptop DJing is that
you only have 1 mouse, 1 sound card, to control things with. The MP4 takes
what would normally be a huge mixer rig and cuts it down to a single rack
space without sacrificing a thing. The USB interface allows for a flawless,
true DJ performance. Preview, cuepoint, pitch,
speed, and scratch controls give the digital DJ the best tools available in
order to compete with traditional vinyl (or even those ancient CDs!). |
|
LIGHTING AND EFFECTS
|
Many DJs may have a good sound system but lack the lighting to
keep a crowd entertained. Our lighting can bring the wallflowers off of the wall
and replace them with projections of flowers instead. Lighting systems are standard for every job
we do and are at no extra cost to you. Our lighting fills a certain void in
an event and adds dynamics and depth to our performance. Additionally, each SWAHT
performance comes with a DJ/LJ (Light Jockey), well-trained in DMX
programming and control and actually works the lighting to fit every song. No
more strobe lights during slow songs! |
MARTIN
- FREEKIE – DMX CONTROLLER
|
|
Truly professional lighting is not professional until it is used
to its maximum potential. This DMX controller is the heart of our light show.
It is programmed with our own unique light shows but also allows us to
manipulate the lighting system on-the-fly. Learn

AMERICAN
DJ - LIGHT COPILOT – CONTROLLER
|
This unit controls all of our non-DMX lighting. The unit can be
set for chasing patterns or just simply as remote on/off control. The 8 channel
pack is also linkable so our show can get bigger without any problems. |
|
MARTIN
- MX-1 & MX-4 SCANNERS – INTELLIGENT LIGHTING
|
|
These are our most intelligent lights that work with our DMX controller.
Martin is the top name for automated lighting. DMX controlling of
these scanners allows us to add strobe, speed, and other manually
controlled detail to their performance. The final effect is visually
stunning and their versatility makes them appropriate for almost any
song and any event. Learn More About MX-1's
and MX-4's |
MARTIN
– RAPTOR - EFFECTS LIGHT
|
|
The Raptor has a huge spread of hundreds of multi-colored beams.
It is also music activated and is an overall wild effect. While non-DMX
controlled, it is utilized to add a great dynamic to any show. |
MARTIN
- ATOMIC 3000 - DMX STROBE LIGHT
|
This 3000 watt strobe adds impact to music…period. Its features
include adjustable speed and intensity, crowd-blinder effect, and full DMX capabilities.
Though, we use the optional “Detonator” controller for more flexibility. Side
note: Joe’s job at the nuclear plant has nothing to do with this light. It
does however make you wonder where it gets all that power from. |
|
ELATION
- OCTOPOD 80 – LED PAR CANS
|
|
These lights consume far less power than traditional par cans
and can produce any color by using the DMX interface and Pixeldrive
controller. |
MARTIN
– MANIA DC1 - WATER LIGHTS
|
These two lights project a brilliant, multi-colored water effect
to create an atmosphere which is constantly moving. Whether it is a slow or fast
dance, they really help bring the room to life! |
|
AMERICAN
DJ - 16" - DISCO BALL
|
|
Another great thing
about us: We have huge (disco) balls. The disco ball is a classic effect,
which can easily fill an entire room. MX-1 intelligent lights are
preprogrammed to shine on this ball which adds color, strobe, and dimming
options not normally seen with most other disco ball configurations. It's A Disco Ball What Else Do You Need To
Know? |
ELATION
- UV WASH - BLACK LIGHTS
|
Two of these puppies
put out 100 watts of pure UV power each. These enhance and tie together the
club atmosphere created by the rest of our lighting arsenal. |
